What This Library Does & How We Use It

@eslint/js provides the core ESLint recommended rules configuration. In seldon it is a devDependency used in the ESLint config — it does not affect the published component bundle.

What Changed

9.39.2 → 10.0.1 (major version bump)

Risk Rationale

Major version of a devDependency — zero runtime impact. Risk is that new or tightened lint rules could block CI until the ESLint config is updated. Kept at medium because the seldon codebase will need a lint check pass before this merges cleanly.

Details:

  • Breaking changes: potentially — ESLint v10 major version may introduce new enabled rules, changed rule behavior, or removed rules that seldon's eslint.config.js currently extends
  • Usage breadth: affects linting of the entire seldon codebase, but no impact on the published bundle
  • Criticality: dev tooling — linting only; does not affect runtime behavior or downstream consumers
