OpenDock puts the things you check all day, like the time, the weather, your next meeting and what's playing, in a floating bar at the bottom of your screen. No opening apps, no digging through Notification Center. It stays out of your way, hides when you want it to, and comes back when you move your mouse to the edge.
- Widgets that update live. Clock, date, weather, now playing, next meeting, battery, CPU, a focus timer and an app launcher.
- Yours to arrange. Drag widgets in from the tray, reorder them, resize them, or remove them. Changes only stick when you press OK.
- Stays out of the way. Auto-hide, a menu bar icon for quick control, and it never steals focus from the app you're working in.
- Looks at home on your Mac. Follows your wallpaper and light or dark mode.
- Stays up to date. OpenDock checks for new versions on its own, or you can check from the menu bar or Settings.
- Download the latest
OpenDock-<version>.dmgfrom Releases. - Open it and drag OpenDock to your Applications folder.
- Launch it and follow the short welcome guide.
Requires macOS 26 or later.
OpenDock asks for access only when a widget needs it, for example Calendar for Next Meeting and Location for local weather. You can say no and the rest keeps working.
