Volunteering for the Getting Started page raised on Slack. Happy to rework any of this.

What it is. A guided reading path rather than a link collection — seven sections in a deliberate order, each building on the last, linking into the awesomelist and the Top 10 entries instead of duplicating them. The framing assumes ordinary security literacy (key exchange, signatures, side channels, supply chains) and no physics.

Both surfaces covered deliberately. Sections 1–4 build up to the migration entries; section 5 covers the platform surface, which is both where the project says it needs contributors and the part least familiar to most security practitioners.

Section 6 is hands-on — free courses and live endpoints, including IBM's Practical Introduction to Quantum Safe Cryptography, the PennyLane Codebook, NCCoE's migration project, and a five-minute exercise testing your own browser against post-quantum TLS. I've added a short note that vendor material is listed on merit but sits alongside commercial offerings, with standards bodies as the neutral reference — happy to drop that if the project would rather not editorialise.

Newcomer orientation page covering both surfaces, in a deliberate reading order, linking into the awesomelist and the Top 10 entries rather than duplicating them. Adds a hands-on section of free courses and live test endpoints. Responds to the request for a Getting Started resource raised in #project-quantum-security.

This is critical, the level of PQ knowledge is low out there! OWASP needs to take a leadership role, here :)
