Overview
Six brands only had a wordmark, so their plates came out wider than everyone else's, and at the smallest size they gave up and showed initials. They now use the square mark each one puts on its own site as a favicon. Asus, Fairphone and Samsung are traced from those, while Lenovo, Nokia and Sony are the first letter of their old wordmark, knocked out of a square the way their favicons do it.
HTC and Oppo stay as they were. HTC's favicon is the wordmark again and Oppo's is a lone O, which doesn't say much. Xiaomi was already square.

None
Additional Info
The traced three go a bit wobbly if you blow them up to 300px. I couldn't see it at any plate size the site uses.
