Product Management in the Energy and Sustainability sectors by trade.
My focus is on product strategy (and I really enjoy strategy!) at S&P Global. Following my education in the environmental and energy fields, my domain for the last ten years has been in the carbon and renewable energy markets. Regulated, technical, B2B.
I'm increasingly hands-on with AI adoption (Claude Code, Cursor, Lovable) - embedding it into what I build both professionally and for personal projects. It's reshaped how I work and deliver and I've taken great strides to apply it when working cross-functionally.
As a product builder, the technical decisions underneath my product roadmaps matter a great deal to me. Just because you could doesn't mean you should and that's where my skillset as a PM comes in - it's possible to build just about anything, the key is building what the customer and the market would actually use.
- Carbon and renewable energy registries - I-REC(E), Article 6, ICVCM, CORSIA, multi-attribute certificate platforms operating across 60+ countries
- API-led growth - took a partner programme from 5 players to 50 multinationals
- 0→1 product launches - compliance-grade infrastructure in markets with no margin for error
- AI-accelerated prototyping - cutting the gap between an idea and something stakeholders can react to
- Where the PM role ends and the builder role begins, and whether that distinction still holds today in the age of AI-augmented tools
- What AI-assisted prototyping actually changes about product discovery, versus what it just speeds up
- Registry infrastructure as a design problem: certificate lifecycles, audit trails, API contracts, multi-jurisdiction data models
- How to build in regulated markets without using regulation as an excuse not to ship

- Built out a portfolio demo of what an end-to-end Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) platform in the energy market could look like. Given my expertise in the energy market, this was a fun project to create and I'm still fleshing out the logic inside. CPQ
- A micro-SaaS for candidate AI shortlisting - this was a particular fun project embedding Google Gemini to support with the analysis of CVs to roles. Still in the works, message me for a demo.
- Recently built a revamp for Sheffield Library's search functionality. I was struggling with their native website UI, there were 3000+ records of CDs available but categorising and listing them all in a neat way was next to impossible. Built a tool in an afternoon and away we go!
- A crypto-finance calculator tool. Connected via a series of APIs to a simple React webpage where the user can track prices of various cryptocurrencies and build out exit scenario modelling. One of the first projects I made with Lovable back in late 2024/early 2025. CoinVision
