Codex and Claude image messages were restricted to
environment:noneeven though the shared Runtime already carried ordered image input through hosted preparation. Qualify inline PNG/JPEG messages and Claude successful function image results foropenai_hosted, reusing native execution, receipts and workspace ownership.A common fixed-SDK/raw-HTTP acceptance workflow verifies initial, prepared and active images, large function image results, native file writes and immutable Artifacts, retry/conflict, rejection without mutation, tenant/Session isolation, cold Core/Runtime continuation and cancellation. Coverage docs and generated OpenAPI describe the qualified Docker scope and retain the native receipt differences.
Validation: real Kimi K3 through independent Core/PostgreSQL/Docker with Codex and Claude; server
make -o check-web check; localmake check-web(73 browser tests); targeted Go race checks;make openapi. Initial acceptance-script failures are retained in the coverage record. Self-hosted/E2B image qualification, MiniMax images and Codex's native-result acknowledgement gap remain outside this change. This does not claim full protocol compatibility.Need help on this PR? Tag
