$\color{SlateBlue}\text{About Me}$

Hello there 👋
My name is $\color{red}\text{Michael Zimmer}$. I majored in Computer Science at Wright State University, and I achieved my degree in May 2026. While at WSU, I found a love of programming and the wide range of tools at my disposal to build a limitless amount of creations. From learning the basics of Computer Science, data structure, and getting hands on experience with different programming languages and the cloud, I am constantly researching information to continue learning and build new projects I can enjoy in my daily life.

I have also achieved an Associate of Applied Science in Computer Information Systems: Network Engineering degree from Sinclair Community College in May 2023. My AAS degree dealt heavily with the same networking technology I worked on while active duty in the Marine Corps as a 2847 - Electro-Mechanical/Information and Communication Technology Maintainer.

I am passionate about developing usable products and ways to optimize organization. Currently, I am creating an Android application that I can use in my daily life, along with a website that will have access to the same information as the app (with more details down below 👀).

EmberTrack App & EmberTrack Website
$\color{Green}\text{EmberTrack}$ is a full-stack application that combines the mobility of a mobile app with the convenience of a web platform. It allows users to store and manage their cigar and whiskey collections, along with personal reviews, in a localized environment. On mobile, data is stored locally with an optional cloud backup, while the web application operates entirely in the cloud. Cloud synchronization enables seamless access to your collections and reviews across both platforms.
Currently, the web application is in the early stages of planning and development, with initial architecture and feature sets still being established.
The cloud service is currently in its planning phase, as it is the final piece of the puzzle to join the mobile and web applications together.
