…tion The synapse architecture doc still described the v0.4-core distribution: '13 hosts / 11 secret-bearing manual hosts' and listed the already-shipped 'pending-target wiring (P3.4)' as remaining. P3.4 + P5.3 landed 17 generated MCP hosts (added VSCodium, Grok Build, Antigravity CLI via JSON merge; Goose, Poolside via YAML block-merge). Reconcile all six stale counts to 17, drop the completed-P3.4 'remaining' claims, fix the lifecycle row that said 'idle shutdown' (the sidecar stays resident, per Operations), and replace the brittle inline host lists with the count + a pointer to the canonical matrix (docs/reference/targets.md) so the enumeration has one home. Source of truth: registry/target-capabilities.json. by mass-energy equivalence

Why
The synapse
architecture.mddrifted from the shipped distribution state. It still described the v0.4-core picture — "13 hosts / 11 secret-bearing manual hosts" — and listed the already-completed P3.4 pending-target wiring as remaining. P3.4 + P5.3 (merged in #14) landed 17 generated MCP hosts: added VSCodium, Grok Build, Antigravity CLI (JSON merge) and Goose, Poolside (YAML block-merge).Source of truth verified:
