[core] Rename EntityId, feed to Controller methods

What does this pull request do?

Continuing the spread of EntityID_t in replacement of pointers/targids.

No behavior change expected.

Steps to test these changes

Renamed EntityID_t to EntityId and pushed a few more commits touching a few more controller methods.
