What this changes

  1. .github/workflows/announce-pull-requests.yaml (new): calls the shared announcer in L337-org/github-workflows at v2, posting to #l337-org when a pull request is opened or reopened and not a draft, or marked ready for review. Forks are skipped. It is this repository's only workflow and builds or tests nothing.
  2. .github/dependabot.yml (new): watches the github-actions ecosystem, since the repository now has a workflow whose reference should be kept up to date. One grouped pull request a week.
  3. .github/copilot-instructions.md: no longer says the repository has no workflows; names the announcer and the Dependabot file.

Tested

  • actionlint is clean.
  • The shared action-pins check (v2) passes over .github/workflows: the only reference is L337-org/github-workflows/...@v2.

Not verified

  • Whether the post reaches Slack: opening this pull request runs the announcer from this branch, so its run on this pull request is the first test.
  • That the L337-org Slack app is a member of #l337-org is assumed from earlier posts there, not checked for this repository.

Pull requests here, Dependabot's included once it has a workflow to update, went unnoticed until
someone opened the repository. The shared announcer posts one opened or reopened that is not a
draft, or a draft marked ready for review, to #l337-org, and skips forks. It is this
repository's first workflow, so a Dependabot configuration for GitHub Actions comes with it, and
the instruction file no longer says there are no workflows.
