Summary

This makes arbitrary self-built and third-party agent harnesses first-class OpenWorkGraph participants without requiring a named provider adapter.

  • agent -> OWG: framework-neutral structural telemetry through the existing write-only agent-ingest boundary
  • OWG -> agent: optional compact MCP context using the normal AI-access and saved-history controls
  • standalone dependency-free Python helper for runs, model calls, tools, handoffs, approvals and errors
  • standalone dependency-free Node/TypeScript helper with declarations
  • existing OTLP/HTTP JSON and raw HTTP remain available for zero-SDK integrations
  • local dashboard adds a Your own agent / harness setup flow with Python, Node, OTEL, raw HTTP and MCP instructions
  • examples explicitly cover OpenClaw/Hermes-style, internal and other arbitrary harnesses without claiming named native integrations
  • telemetry permission and context/history read permission remain separate
  • no prompt/model-response/tool-argument/tool-result/returned-value/exception-text/reasoning capture
  • SDK delivery is bounded and fail-open; Python shutdown admission and Node in-flight shutdown are regression-tested
  • v0.95.0 release alignment and standalone Python/Node SDK GitHub Release assets

Privacy/security invariants

The custom SDK API intentionally has no content-bearing prompt/response/tool payload parameters. Tests prove returned secrets and exception messages remain in the harness and never enter telemetry. The telemetry bearer is write-only and is not embedded in the generated MCP configuration. Historical MCP reads still require the user's saved-history lease.

Release assets

In addition to the existing macOS/Windows/Claude packages, the v0.95 release workflow stages:

  • OpenWorkGraph-Agent-Python.py
  • OpenWorkGraph-Agent-Node.mjs
  • OpenWorkGraph-Agent-Node.d.ts

Please gate merge on the full Python matrix, browser JS tests, Gateway/Postgres container, and all release-package jobs including the new SDK package job.
