Memory Project

This folder stores reusable conversation knowledge for the current workspace.

Scope:

• Reusable knowledge distilled from past conversations
• Stable workflow rules for how to save conversation knowledge
• Session archives grouped by date-workspace

Do not store here:

• Current task status
• Active TODO lists
• Project-specific architecture notes
• Short-lived local context

Suggested maintenance:

1. Save a conversation summary only when the thread produced reusable knowledge.
2. Store session summaries under conversations/date-workspace/.
3. Keep summaries focused on durable takeaways, not task-by-task progress.
4. Avoid workspace-specific details unless they are necessary to understand the knowledge.

Preferred read order for future sessions:

1. quick-start.md
2. rules.md
3. conversations/ only if deeper history is needed

Default write-back rule:

• If the session created reusable knowledge, write a short summary into conversations/YYYY-MM-DD-workspace/topic.md.
• If the session was routine, one-off, or produced no durable context, do not write a summary.
