Write the art gate's em dash constant as an escape - #10
Merged
Conversation
The gate searches rendered drawings for an em dash and fails when it finds one. It held that character as a literal, so the file enforcing the rule was the one file in the repository breaking it. Written as an escape it is the same character at runtime, and a scan for stray em dashes now reads the repository as clean. All 19 gates still pass. tools/check_repo_art.pysearches rendered drawings for an em dash and fails when it finds one. It held the character it looks for as a literal, so the file carrying the house rule was the one file in the repository breaking it. A scan for stray em dashes reported that line as a finding, correctly.Written as a unicode escape the constant is the same character at runtime, and the repository reads clean. Nothing else changes, and all 19 gates still pass.
