I'm a PhD student in Computer Science at the National University of Singapore (NUS), advised by Prof. Harold Soh, and have been awarded the A*STAR Graduate Scholarship (Computing).
Previously, I was a Research Engineer at the Smart Systems Institute, NUS, under the supervision of Prof. David Hsu, where I worked closely with Dr. Hanbo Zhang.
My research focuses on real-world mobile manipulation, with an emphasis on reasoning in unknown and dynamic environments. I develop representations and planning methods that enable robots to:
- jointly reason about where to look and how to act under partial knowledge;
- build action-oriented object and scene representations;
- quantify uncertainty and adapt as the environment changes; and
- tackle open-world, multi-step tasks in homes and public spaces.
My recent work spans visibility-aware mobile grasping, open-world robot planning, uncertainty-aware visual grounding, robotic manipulation, and multimodal human–robot interaction.
I'm always happy to discuss research, collaborate, or chat with students interested in robotics and graduate study.
