I'd like the ability to programmatically add jobs for instance.

JobSync already exposes a supported MCP API for this rather than a general REST endpoint.

1. On a production/self-hosted instance, set MCP_ENABLED=true.
2. Open Settings → MCP Access and generate a token.
3. Connect an MCP client to https://<your-jobsync-host>/api/mcp with Authorization: Bearer <token>.
4. Call add_job, or add_jobs_batch for up to ten jobs.

The same API also provides find_job and update_job. The complete setup and tool contract are documented in MCP Access.

Thanks for clarifying. In that case, the answer is currently no: main has no supported REST, GraphQL, or tRPC endpoint for creating or updating jobs.

/api/jobs currently contains only the export route. Job writes are implemented as internal Next.js Server Actions, which are session-bound implementation details rather than a stable external API. MCP is the only documented token-authenticated write interface.

So this is still a valid feature request. A public API should reuse the existing job schemas/write services behind versioned endpoints and personal-token authentication; calling the generated Server Action transport directly would be brittle.
