Adds a short Community & ecosystem tools section to the README, indexing the open-source tools that have grown around OKF since it shipped — editors, agent skills, linters/validators, a CLI, and publishers. One line each, matching the repo's style, grouped by function and alphabetical within each group.

Proposed in #166.

All listed tools are public, actively maintained, and specifically target Google's OKF (verified their repos/READMEs). Happy to adjust the inclusion bar (min activity, "must round-trip v0.1", etc.) or move this to a COMMUNITY.md if you'd prefer.

Disclosure: I contribute to OWOX Model Canvas, one of the listed editors. The intent is a neutral, useful index for the whole community — glad to hand the list and its criteria to a maintainer.

Thanks @smgam29 — added KnowHub under Generation & publishing just now:

KnowHub — a model-agnostic pipeline that turns implementation documents (guides, PDFs, decks) into OKF bundles via cross-model extraction.

Tweak the one-liner if you'd word it differently. And exactly the spirit of this — if others want in, drop a comment here or on #166 and we'll fold them in before merge.

Quick ping to a few authors whose tools are in this list — @sniperunder123 (okf-knowledge), @Sudhakaran88 (okf-conformance), @activetwist (OnyxWriter): you're included here, and also in a community OKF ecosystem roundup we're putting together at OWOX. Feel free to tweak your one-liner if you'd word it differently — and if a mutual mention/link makes sense, happy to.

Same open invite as before: anyone building on OKF who wants in, drop a comment and we'll fold you in before merge. And thanks again @smgam29 for kicking this off — glad to keep collaborating.

And for completeness, pinging the rest of the authors whose tools are listed here so everyone's in the loop and can adjust their one-liner if they'd word it differently — @0dust (OKFy), @scaccogatto (okf-skills), @longsizhuo (okf-frontmatter), @thisismydesign (okf-lint), @oak-invest (kiso), @openknowledge-sh (openknowledge CLI). You're all also included in the community OKF ecosystem roundup we're putting together at OWOX; happy to swap a mention where it's a fit. Thanks for building on OKF.

Thank you! I would love to be included. Onyx Writer is continuing active development. Just released encrypted bundles and MCP/CLI support.

@activetwist glad to! You were already in under Editors — I've just refreshed the line to reflect the new capabilities you mentioned:

OnyxWriter — local-first desktop editor (Tauri) for OKF bundles: visual and raw editing, encrypted bundles, and MCP/CLI support.

Tweak the wording anytime if you'd put it differently.

@ikrasovytskyi Thanks for including okf-frontmatter. Happy to have the current one-liner as-is.

@ikrasovytskyi Thanks for including OKFy!

The current line is fine, though I’d slightly tweak it to:

OKFy — converts doc sites and local Markdown folders into OKF bundles, with validation, inspection, and an MCP server for agents.

Thanks all! 🙌

@0dust — updated OKFy to your wording:

OKFy — converts docs sites and local Markdown folders into OKF bundles, with validation, inspection, and an MCP server for agents.

@thisismydesign, @longsizhuo — great, keeping okf-lint and okf-frontmatter as-is. Appreciate you confirming.

Anyone else listed who wants an edit, just drop it here and I'll fold it in before this merges.

Love this initiative! I run BundleDex (https://bundledex.net) — a directory of 227+ OKF bundles with search, dedup, categorization, and a JSON API for agents. It would fit well in a Directories & discovery subsection or under a general listing since it's a community resource that makes bundles findable and machine-accessible. Happy to suggest a one-liner:

- [BundleDex](https://bundledex.net) — directory of 227+ OKF bundles with search, dedup, categorization, and a JSON API for agents.

Thanks for putting this together — it's great to see the ecosystem grow.

+1 for this addition. BundleDex (bundledex.net) is a community directory of 240+ OKF bundles with search, categorization, and a JSON API for agent discovery. It would be a natural fit for the Community & ecosystem tools section once this PR merges.

Also, the awesome-okf list (https://github.com/McClawdDigital/awesome-okf) curates OKF bundles, tools, and resources from the community and could be linked as a community-maintained resource.
