Summary of Changes

Adds two ignore rules to .github/dependabot.yml so Dependabot stops opening major-version PRs that shouldn't be merged automatically:

  • @types/node: the template runs on Node 24 (.node-version). Node 26 types would allow APIs that don't exist at runtime. Bump the types together with .node-version when moving to Node 26 LTS (due later this month).
  • @babel/core: Babel only runs the React Compiler. babel-plugin-react-compiler@1.0.0 (still the latest) depends on Babel 7's @babel/types, and a test build under Babel 8 produced different compiler output. CI can't catch that, because a build that passes doesn't prove the memoization is the same.

Minor and patch updates for both packages still come through.

This replaces Dependabot PRs #7 and #8, which are closed with an explanation.

Checklist

  • I have tested these changes thoroughly
  • pnpm check and pnpm test pass

@types/node should match the Node major in .node-version (24), and the
React Compiler (babel-plugin-react-compiler 1.0) is still built on Babel 7,
so Babel 8 changes its output. Both get bumped deliberately instead.

Superseded by #10, which switches the React Compiler to its native Oxc version (so there's no Babel to skip anymore) and includes the @types/node rule from here.
