Just want to confirm about the end of OrWall

So i just want to confirm about the announcement on the website about OrWall, is this project going to be permanently abandoned now?

I forked the project and made some updates after this announcement, for now I am too busy to continue and I think it need to be rewritten.

On my side, I don't have time enough in order to maintain it. It needs a rewrite in order to comply with latest Android best practices, and seeing its limited usage (only on rooted devices, only for a small subset of people) and the absence of active community around it, I'm afraid it's near to its end.

If someone makes PR I can merge them so that a new build is provided on f-droid, but I can't do more…

ok well its a shame because this app would really help to force apps to use tor. There is no other app like this, besides AFWall which doesnt do the same thing.
I found orWall to be very useful, i really hope someone can continue supporting this project.
Unless someone can merge both projects so that the app has the ability to do what AFWall does by blocking traffic on selected apps and what OrWall does as well all into one app.

The last version on my fork is not published on f-droid, and have an interesting feature to only authorize some ports, I use it to prevent non encrypted traffic. Make a try if you need it.

Also: I am confident someone is going to run with this project, as it's clear to many that it's important. It's simply the case that the person who has time to do that, is not in this conversation yet :)
