Both projects for EclairJS will run in parallel since in order to develop the Node API we also need to develop similar capabilities in the Nashorn API, thus the roadmap below covers both components of EclairJS. We are currently on Milestone 1.

Milestone 1

EclairJS Node/Nashorn API, including error handling for:

Core
Streaming
SQL/DataFrame
Upgrade to Spark 1.6.0

Milestone 2

EclairJS Node/Nashorn API, including error handling for:

MLLib
GraphX
