With this major version upgrade of next, the eslint-config-next dependency in devDependencies (line 27) should also be updated from 15.3.3 to a version compatible with next@16, such as 16.1.5. This will prevent potential linting errors and ensure the ESLint configuration aligns with the new Next.js version.
