My Music Library

A local Streamlit dashboard for exploring a personal music library through three related lenses:

• Collection — all music in the library
• Curation — songs manually selected into one or more playlists
• Listening — actual listening represented by Play Count

The dashboard reads Songs_Playlists.xlsx directly as its single source of truth. It never writes to or modifies the workbook. Playlist selections can overlap and are not treated as genres or as a complete classification of the collection.

Run locally

From this project directory, create and activate a virtual environment on macOS:

python3 -m venv .venv
source .venv/bin/activate

Install the required packages:

python -m pip install -r requirements.txt

Start the dashboard:

streamlit run app.py

Streamlit will print the local URL in the terminal, normally http://localhost:8501.
