Release tags are protected from deletion, so a release cut on a tag whose workflow is stale can't be re-cut. A manual run on main can now publish when the typed version matches the built artifacts; any other ref, or a blank version, stays a test+build dry run. Release tags are protected from deletion. The v0.6.2 release tag points at a commit whose publish workflow predates #9, so it can't be re-cut.
A manual run of
publish.ymlnow publishes only if:main,publish_versionis set,Otherwise the run is a test+build dry run. Publishing still goes only through PyPI Trusted Publishing (OIDC).
