Description

When connecting an external camera (DJI Osmo Pocket 3 in webcam mode), the app fails to start the camera properly. While the camera works without issues in other applications, selecting it in this app results in a loop showing:

Camera is starting
Acquiring lock on camera
(repeats indefinitely)

Reproduction

Connect the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 to the MacBook.
Open the app and select the DJI camera as the video input.
Observe the camera failing to initialize, stuck in a loop.

The camera acquisition path has been substantially rewritten since this was reported. This specific startup hang is believed resolved, please re-test on the latest version and open a fresh issue with logs if the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 still gets stuck.
