Using AVCaptureDevice via cidre will probably be necessary for this. Nokhwa doesn't distinguish between pixel formats well enough

The camera capture library on macOS has been substantially rewritten since this was reported. This specific OBS Virtual Camera issue is believed resolved, please re-test on the latest version and open a fresh issue with logs if it still doesn't show up.
