Problem
v1.5.2 moved the runtime dependency chalk to 6.x, which declares engines.node >=22. @cldmv/vitest-runner still declares >=20.19.0, so installs on Node.js 20 print an EBADENGINE warning, or fail with engine-strict. CI only tests from Node.js 22.12, so this isn't covered.
Options (needs a maintainer decision)
- (a) Raise
engines.node to >=22.12.0, matching CI and the vitest toolchain.
- (b) Pin
chalk to 5.x and keep supporting Node.js 20.19.
Blocked on that decision. The v1.5.2 changelog and README Requirements in #71 already describe the current state.
