index.cjs wrapped index.mjs in its own async function and attached .defaults later from a dynamic import(), so require("@cldmv/slothlet") returned a different function than the ESM default export and .defaults was undefined in the same tick as the require(). - index.cjs: a plain require of index.mjs, re-exporting its default, the named slothlet alias and (through the function) .defaults, all synchronously. Where Node.js has no require(esm) (before 20.19 / 22.12) it throws ERR_REQUIRE_ESM with a message pointing to import(). - helpers/reserved-keys: new import-free module holding the ComponentBase.INTERNAL_KEYS and IMPL_METADATA_KEYS Sets. index.mjs statically imports helpers/defaults, which reached helpers/platform (top-level await) through the wrapper classes; require(esm) rejects a graph with top-level await. @cldmv/fix-headers 2.1.0 -> 2.1.4. `npm run fix:headers` restamped the headers of 1150 files in the framed 2.1 layout (an empty ` *` line inside the opener and before the closer), refreshed @last modified, and corrected 89 @Date epochs that did not match their date text. No JSON or Markdown file was touched. types/*.d.mts.map are regenerated for the shifted lines. - tools/dev/fix-headers.mjs: pass `margin: 1`, as the shared @cldmv/configs fix-headers config does. The default margin of 2 is collapsed to 1 by prettier, so precommit's fix:headers and format steps would rewrite every file back and forth on each run. - tools/dev/analyze-errors.mjs: the header check and the stacked-header check accept empty ` *` frame lines, so the framed layout is not reported as a missing header.

Turn on fix-headers' normalizeDateFormat, as the shared @cldmv/configs config does. @last modified time was written in the space form (2026-10-03 20:02:20 -07:00) next to @Date in the ISO form, and 580 @Date values were still in the space form. Every date is now written as 2026-10-03T20:02:20-07:00; each date keeps its instant (epochs unchanged). Only header date lines change.

slothlet's fix-headers wrapper predates @cldmv/configs and fix-headers' extends support, so it hard-coded its house settings. It now passes .configs/fix-headers.json, which extends @cldmv/configs/fix-headers.json, and only sets the file set (the same lists analyze checks). The shared settings restamp 288 headers: @author and @last modified by use the signing-key name (Nate Corcoran), 4 last-modified emails move to the noreply address, and 16 @Date values move back to the file's first commit. The wrapper's --diff (and --dry-run, which implies it) now prints each changed file's header diff; before, it only listed file names.

The CJS entry set module.exports.slothlet on the ESM entry's own function so that `const { slothlet } = require(...)` works. That wrote a property onto the function ESM consumers import, so its own keys were ["defaults"] for an ESM-only load but ["defaults", "slothlet"] once anything had called require(). index.mjs now sets slothlet.slothlet itself, and index.cjs no longer writes to the shared function, so every consumer sees the same object (defaults and slothlet) regardless of load order. The generated types declare the property too. tests/node/entrypoint-cjs.cjs checks the ESM-only and require() shapes match; it fails on the previous entries.
