Screen Captures

CEmu supports regular screen captures via PNG, and animated screen captures via animated PNG.

Capturing animated PNG recordings

To start/stop a screen recording, you can:

• Press Shift+Ctrl+X
• Use the Capture dock to being a recording
• Select the option from File->Record Animated PNG

Once a recording has completed, the animated PNG can be optimized by enabling the Optimize checkbox in the Capture dock. This is enabled by default.

The frameskip option controls how many emulated frames should be skipped. You can use this in order to help reduce the output size of the recording if necessary.
