Summary

Update the Python OAuth example to the production-verified MCP SDK version and synchronize its README.

-mcp==2.1.1
+mcp==2.2.0

Evidence

  • Before: The example installed MCP 2.1.1.
  • After: Dependency synchronization installs 2.2.0; all 10 Python tests and the diff check pass.
  • Production verification on 2026-09-23 completed fresh OAuth and safe plan_call with MCP 2.2.0: discovery 200, registration 201, token 200, tool result 200 with no tool error. The probe remained alive during shutdown and was stopped; clean exit was not verified.

Merge Danger

Door: Two-way; reverting restores the previous dependency pin.

Blast Radius: Python example only. No published package change or changeset needed.

Related: #155.
