cpesim-dist

Public binary distribution for the CPESIM BNG lab-demo engine.

This repository hosts only the built release artifacts — it contains no source code. The CPESIM engine source is maintained privately.

Artifacts

Each release publishes:

• bng-lab-demo-<version>.tar.gz — the engine payload (unpacks into /opt/bng-demo)
• bng-lab-demo-<version>.tar.gz.sha256 — its SHA-256 checksum
• bng-lab-demo.tar.gz / bng-lab-demo.tar.gz.sha256 — version-less aliases of the latest release, so releases/latest/download/bng-lab-demo.tar.gz always resolves.

Consuming it

The QuantumTouch BNG dashboard's CPESIM module fetches the tarball and its .sha256, verifies the checksum, then installs it. Its default download URL is:

https://github.com/Bluedot-Insight/cpesim-dist/releases/latest/download/bng-lab-demo.tar.gz

This is an operator-configurable setting — air-gapped labs can mirror the assets internally and point the dashboard at the mirror.
