Failed when upload RDS

Hello! After I run scFOCAL::runscFOCAL(), the data upload page immediately shows:

“Success! Seurat object loaded. Version 5 Seurat Object Detected.”

However, at this point I have not uploaded any data yet. When I try to select and upload my own RDS file or the example RDS file provided on your GitHub, the page does not respond at all and still shows “No file selected.”

Could you please explain what might be causing this issue? Thanks!

Hi @BolinLiuu, when you are running this by chance do you already have a seurat object loaded into the environment? Maybe there is a clash with the variable names. Could you try making sure the environment is clear (sweep in Rstudio), and run again? If the issue persists, could you please paste the output from the R terminal?

I confirm that the R environment is empty and no Seurat object has been loaded. You can see the output of ls() and scFOCAL::runscFOCAL() that I pasted below.

Hi @BolinLiuu I apologize for the delay in response. If you are running it from within Rstudio, please try to pop the app out of the IDE to the browser (should be a button to do this). If this does not solve the problem, please ensure you are using the most recent version installed from github. Please let me know if this issue is still ongoing.
