Wagwan! My name is Almaz 🫡

Data Scientist | Software Engineer | Hopeful AGI doomer

I'm a former Petrophysicist, now full time Software Engineer, a solve problems type of guy.
Current work and research focus on LLM transparency, control and security in high hazard industries;

prev. Research Assistant at the AI Group, UiT Narvik, where I also a Computer Science student. Combining my 10++ years of experience as a Petrophysicist (Data Science applied in the Oil and Gas) with my studies in computer science and machine learning, while supporting courses on AI/ML algorithms, Operating Systems, and Intelligent Agents at UiT. I also volunteer at the Algoritmi student club, bringing new energy and ideas to this student non-profit.
