I noticed a couple of places where we have problems in an exercise group with common instructions (e.g. "Take the derivative of the following functions")
It is now the case that when the interactive (WeBWorK) questions are generated, the instructions are automatically copied into the question. (You don't see this unless you "activate" a problem in HTML.)
There was a time when this was not the case, and we had written the instructions into every question.
I think this was fixed in all the early chapters, but I've noticed a few places in the last few chapters where it got missed.
So if you notice that some exercises seem to have redundant instructions, this is almost certainly an oversight that we need to correct.
