💡 What:
Optimized MicrotubuleTorus in components/QuantumScene.tsx using InstancedMesh.

🎯 Why:
Rendering individual <mesh> instances for every cube in the torus structure creates an excessive number of GPU draw calls (e.g., 360 draw calls for count=360 and 720 draw calls for count=720, total 1080 draw calls). This places severe CPU/GPU bottleneck on frame rendering.

📊 Measured Improvement:

  • Baseline Draw Calls: ~1082 draw calls (1080 mesh instances + 2 light sources)
  • Optimized Draw Calls: ~4 draw calls (2 instanced meshes + 2 light sources)
  • Reduction: >99.6% reduction in scene draw calls, resulting in significantly lower CPU overhead and higher FPS rendering for complex quantum scenes.

PR created automatically by Jules for task 1480727664663315193 started by @jason420247

Replaced individual mesh rendering loop with Three.js InstancedMesh to eliminate excessive GPU draw calls.
Reduces draw calls from ~1080 (360 + 720 individual meshes) down to 2 draw calls for the torus structures.
