💡 What:
Optimized MicrotubuleTorus in components/QuantumScene.tsx using React Three Fiber's InstancedMesh with matrix updates during frame rendering (useFrame).

🎯 Why:
Rendering 1,080 separate Mesh geometries individual draw calls (360 cubes in outer ring + 720 cubes in inner ring) creates severe CPU overhead and high draw call counts. Converting individual meshes into instancedMesh batches all geometry transformations into a single GPU call per torus.

📊 Measured Improvement:

  • Baseline Draw Calls: ~1,082 draw calls (1,080 mesh objects + scene lighting).
  • Optimized Draw Calls: ~4 draw calls (2 instanced meshes + scene lighting).
  • Draw Call Reduction: >99.6% reduction in draw calls and GPU bind operations.
