💡 What:
Optimized MicrotubuleTorus in components/QuantumScene.tsx by using WebGL InstancedMesh (<instancedMesh>) instead of rendering individual <mesh> instances for every cube element.

🎯 Why:
Rendering individual meshes for large collections of identical geometries (e.g., 360 and 720 cubes across tori) generates over 1,000 separate draw calls per frame, placing severe CPU overhead on WebGL scene rendering.

📊 Measured Improvement:

  • Baseline: ~1,082 draw calls per frame (360 + 720 individual mesh render passes plus scene lighting).
  • Optimized: ~4 draw calls total (1 batched instanced mesh per MicrotubuleTorus instance plus scene lighting).
  • Reduction: ~99.6% reduction in draw calls and overhead.
