GitHub Storefront Manual Steps

Use this checklist when applying the remaining GitHub UI changes for CortexPilot.

1. About

Recommended About text:

The command tower for AI engineering, with Workflow Cases, read-only MCP truth, proof, and replay across Codex and Claude Code workflows.

2. Topics

Recommended topic set:

3. Social Preview

Repo-side presence of the asset is not proof that the GitHub setting is already live. Treat the file below as the tracked upload candidate until the GitHub UI is updated and the repository page is visually rechecked.

Source of truth:

  • docs/assets/storefront/social-preview-source.svg

4. Discussions

Preferred state:

  • Discussions are already enabled on the live repository
  • create categories:
    • Q&A
    • Ideas
    • Announcements

If Discussions are disabled again in the future:

  • reflect that choice in README.md or SUPPORT.md

5. Latest GitHub Release

Recommended release title:

CortexPilot v0.1.0-alpha.3 - storefront sync baseline

Draft notes source:

  • docs/releases/v0.1.0-alpha.3.md

Live release:

  • https://github.com/xiaojiou176-open/CortexPilot-public/releases/tag/v0.1.0-alpha.3

Truth note:

  • treat v0.1.0-alpha.3 as the latest published public baseline, but not as proof that the current main snapshot is already released
  • keep v0.1.0-alpha.1 as the historical first public baseline
  • keep README.md, DISTRIBUTION.md, and the Pages distribution mirror explicit about that lag until the next release is cut

6. Pages / Landing

Current live state:

  • GitHub Pages is enabled from main / /docs
  • live URL: https://xiaojiou176-open.github.io/CortexPilot-public/
  • the GitHub Website field now points to that URL

If the Pages source changes in the future:

  • verify the final public URL again
  • then update the GitHub Website field to match
