Not work in Yosemite. Can not boot up after patching!

After applying the patch, the system will not boot up.

Have to use Cmd-R to enter the recovery mode and restore the IOKit to boot back into the system.

It appears that Yosemite no longer loads modified kernel extensions when booting, which results in a boot failure.

follow the instructions when you boot in single user mode, it will give you a command how to mount your disk properly.
unfortunately you need IOKit to rename file, so when you remove the original one you can't rename the bak file use something like $ sudo mv IOKit.bak IOKit if you can't boot at this point boot in singel user mode and use that command
