BUG: Retrieve on dot density map

Retrieve on a dot density map shows the total for the enumeration unit, not the total for the dot that was clicked. See attached image:

What is the point of retrieving the total for each dot, since that is always the same value and shown in the legend?

Just for consistency in a map study that tests different symbolization types, even if I agree that clicking makes little sense.
