Noticed others clamoring on Reddit (https://www.reddit.com/r/uBlockOrigin/comments/1tq6r9i/avg_blocked_3_different_connections_to_the_github/)

Due to a spine problem/surgery on deck I did not have a lot of time to look into this this evening. Unknown if it is in fact a significant issue but wanted to point it out without exposing to the public/fueling hysteria if it is not.

As stated by a uBO team member on the Reddit thread you linked to:

These are false positives.

You should report the false positive to your AV vendor.

And as stated by another uBO team member in the thread (for the benefit of people using other AV products):

Norton, AVG, Avast, and Avira are all owned by the same company (Gen) and likely use the same virus definition system.
