Defining an optional library which Paperback will automatically scan #565

Description

@nidza07

Currently, if you have no documents open in Paperback at all, you just get an empty tab control with nothing else.
I propose adding the ability to define your own library, or bookshelf, whichever terminology you prefer.

How does this all work?

  1. In your settings, you would be able to define the folder, or multiple folders paperback should automatically scan for new documents.
  2. In the file menu, you would have an option to go to your library. This option would open a fairly minimalistic screen, which would contain a list of all documents found in the directories you are scanning, with first letter navigation, and possibly some basic data such as file name, path, date added, and so on... From this screen, you can open as many documents as you want for reading.
  3. This could be a later down the road consideration, but it would also be nice to be able to mark a file as read from the library screen. Paperback could also mark it as read automatically when you finish reading a document (though we may want this configurable). Marking a file as read would mean it will no longer be displayed on the library screen, though it may also be nice to have an option to show all/only unread files.

Getting back to my starting paragraph, I also believe that the library, if one is defined, could be shown if you have no documents opened. I wouldn't mind this behaviour being configurable either, or the approach of "if you don't care about this, not defining a library is good enough", open to your thoughts.

What do others think about this? Is it something you find interesting, or not at all?
