We should, in some way, remind the TAs that the day is a passoff day. This would require either a configurable setting to set passoff days or integration with canvas to get due dates for phases 5 and 6. Either way, it would require upkeep at the beginning of a semester.
Notifying the students is also beneficial so that there is no reason to complain if they don't get helped on a passoff day because "they didn't know." Sending a message that self-deletes after 20 hours to TA and Student help queue chats that says that students with passoffs will receive priority over students who do not have passoffs that day is kind of what I have in mind.
