I have a Valve Index, which comes with its own set of headphones (and in fact would be awkward to use headphones with). After exiting Beat Saber and putting on my headphones for regular use, it appears that the changes made by this mod persist to my headphones, even after turning off all relevant settings on your mod and exiting the game. Whatever .bat files you cooked up also makes it persist through a full system restart...
Found a fix, at least: Unplugging the device then plugging it back in.
