Summary

Expand beyond VS Code with IDE extensions for JetBrains, NeoVim, Zed, Visual Studio, and AI coding tools.

Details

Target IDEs (in priority order):

1. JetBrains (IntelliJ, WebStorm, PyCharm, GoLand, Rider, etc.)
2. NeoVim (Lua plugin)
3. Zed (extension)
4. Visual Studio (Windows, .NET extension)
5. AI coding tools (Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode)

All extensions should:

• Share the same heartbeat protocol
• Report language, project, and activity state
• Read config from ~/.devglobe/config.toml
• Support the same privacy flags

Why

The more IDEs supported, the more developers can participate — broadening the globe's coverage and community.
