What happened?

When you attempt to mount a horse without a saddle, the screen goes black and I have to force close the game. I removed all mods except Hof Bergmann, it's dependent mods, the horse addon pack, and fresh for the attached log. Removing the fresh mod fixes this issue. I had to narrow this down from over 350+ mods, this was not the mod I was assuming caused the issue, lol.

What did you expect to happen?

You should mount the horse, without a saddle. The camera should go to 3rd person and you can ride the horse out of the stable to be able to put a saddle on.

Steps to Reproduce

Install Hof Bergmann, it's dependent mods, the optional Hof Bergmann horse addon pack, and the fresh mod.
Buy horse farm.
Buy horse.
Approach horse and click ride shortcut.
Screen goes black

Thanks for reporting.

The issue was that Hof Bergmann's horse type includes a fill unit (used for the saddle/reins animation system), which caused Fresh to try reading the horse's name during loading. There seems to be a timing issue in base game's Rideable:getName() that this isn't set yet at that point, so it crashes.

Fixed in v1.0.0.2:

• Fresh now safely handles vehicle types where getName() can throw during loading
• Horses with non-perishable fill types (like saddle equipment) are silently skipped - no containers registered.

The fix applies to any map that extends the horse "vehicle" type with fill units, not just Hof Bergmann.
