[Bug]: Claude /goal command not working #9266

Description

@marcelolaux

Before submitting

  • I searched existing issues and did not find a duplicate.
  • I included enough detail to reproduce or investigate the problem.

Area

apps/desktop

Steps to reproduce

  1. open a new topic in a selected project
  2. define an Anthropic model.
  3. write a prompt that will enter the plan mode and after the assembled plan accept the implementation.
  4. type /goal command to set a goal for Claude. For example: "/goal all items implemented and with tests passing".
  5. Claude does not respect and for the work in the first round of implementation (objective not yet reached).

Expected behavior

Claude should continue implementing non-stop in any round until it reaches the /goal objectives, as is normally the case in Claude Code.

Actual behavior

After the /goal has been set, Claude stops working on the implementation and waits for user command after the first round.
