Bottles won't open

Hello everyone, new to Linux. I can't seem to get Bottles to even open. I've tried installing it direct from the bottles site, tried form software center, tried from the terminal (konsole on Tuxedo OS). It says it installs correctly, yet every time I go to open it, it seems to have the mini logo pop up, the circle spin then close. I tried opening in terminal as well, and it simply just goes blank as it just goes to the next command line.

Is there something else I'm missing, or something I'm just not thinking/seeing in the Linux way?\
