Automatic refresh

So, Sidestore advertises itself as “automatically refreshing apps when connected to VPN” but from the time I downloaded this app years ago to now it has never once refreshed on it’s own. I’m not hating or anything, I’m just genuinely wondering if I’m doing something wrong cause I think I followed the instructions as best as I can?

You can create a shortcut to automaticly refresh it using built in ios features pretty easy too!!!!!!!

ios bg refresh is purely scheduled at will by ios kernel based on various params like battery etc…so even if sidestore asks ios to schedule refresh at specific timing it could be deferred…

other than this there shouldn’t be any reason why sidestore cannot do…if there is a bug we will fix it..

Makes sense, I was wondering why sometimes my apps would just be refreshed sometimes and other times not-
