👋 Welcome to DevShelf! The Crowdsourced Developer Directory

Welcome to DevShelf! 📚

DevShelf was created to solve two big developer frustrations:

1. Link Rot: Finding awesome-lists where half the links and APIs are broken or paywalled.
2. The Discovery Problem: Incredible open-source tools and free APIs get built every day but stay buried with zero stars and zero traffic.

---

🌟 What makes DevShelf different?

• Zero Paywalled "Free Trials": Every API listed here either requires no key or has a permanent free tier.
• Automated Weekly Healthchecks: Our GitHub Actions ping listed endpoints weekly to ensure links never die.
• Open to Everyone: You can submit your open-source repo or free API in 30 seconds via GitHub Issue Forms.
