Steam bbcode is ugly.
Lists are usually formatted like this:
[list]
[*]aaa
[*]bbb
[*]ccc
[/list]
The closing tag for [*] is not mandatory, but I'd like to be able to force a closing </li> even if [/*] is not present.
In this case, a newline or the closing [/list] tag marks the end of a list element.
