Description with steps to reproduce
CASE 1
Open or create a score
Press P to show Piano keyboard panel
Click the ... on the Piano panel to show menu
Click anywhere in the score to exit menu
Press P to hide Piano keyboard panel
Repeat steps 2-5 until MSS crashes or freezes (usually this happens very quickly)
CASE 2
Open or create a score
Press P to show Piano keyboard panel
Select a bar in the score and press n for note input mode
Press P twice to hide then show Piano keyboard panel, and immediately press pitch (e.g. d) to enter a note.
Repeat step 4 until MSS crashes

Yes, this used to work in MuseScore 4.6.5

So far I haven't been able to reproduce showing and hiding from the View menu. Possibly due to timing/performance?
